Acer platanoides “Crimson Sentry”

Origin: It is a selected cultivar from the U.S.

Botanical characteristics: It is small in relation to the other species, up to 15 mt high. This plant has a columnar growth habit, pyramidal, with branches from the base to the crown, whose diameter is not larger then 5 mt. The large large leaves are purple until autumn. Beautiful flowers with yellow petals and red sepals bloom in spring.

Agronomic and environmental characteristics: It is suitable for different types of soil, free from diseases and resistant to pollution.

Use: It is an ornamental plant mainly used in small gardens and spaces.
